PURPOSE OF POST:
Manages the administration function of the School, is a member of the School Management Team and supports the Head of School and the Principal, in the efficient running of the School. Ensures the efficient administration of the School, within the overall planned priorities .
Residential/School/ Hospitality background preferred in a similar profile.
Should be well organized , a multi tasker and proactive professional.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Supports the Head of School in the operational aspects of School Administration management
Prepares and monitors School budgets, Events, Procurement, Vendor management and travel logistics and takes responsibility for appropriate expenditure within the School
Acts as the main interface between the academic and the administrative roles in the School; taking responsibility for the duties of the administrative and secretarial staff by developing, co-ordinating and allocating the administrative tasks in the School in conduction with academic staff to ensure the efficient administration of academic course/ programmes
Works with the Administration Team to ensure a quality service is provided to staff and students in the School, co-ordinating activities with other units across the University as required
