Job Description:

COMPUTER TEACHER AND CONTENT DEVELOPER - PRIMARY

NPS Yelahanka is looking for experienced Primary School Teachers to be a part of their growing institution.

Candidates should have keen interest and enthusiasm to develop and deliver an interesting Computer Science programme for the Primary and Middle School that can prepare students to think logically and develop problem solving abilities.

An ideal candidate would have prior teaching experience of at least 3 years at the Primary School Level.

Knowledge of simple programming languages like Scratch would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Will be responsible for implementing the Computer Science programme for the primary and middle school (Grades 1-6).
Will be responsible for teaching basic computer skills at the early grades
Should be able to teach how to break down a problem and provide an algorithmic solution at the middle level (Grades 5-6) where students are not expected to code or write programs
Will also be expected to develop content for Science and Maths programme at Primary level (Grades 1-4)
Should be able to communicate complex ideas with clarity and simplicity.
Should be comfortable in using the web for collating research and developing content.

Should be a self starter and able to work independently

Candidates should have a Bachelors Degree along with a degree/certification in Education.
