Job Description:

Pledge Harbor International School, the first and only IB accredited boarding school of Bangladesh is looking for faculty in following subjects.

Subjects:
1. English Teacher
2. PYP Trained Teacher


Campus Location:
Singer Dighi, Mawna, Gazipur, Bangladesh


Job Description / Responsibility:
Must implement effective IB PYP Teaching Strategies, Methodologies and Pedagogies.
Keeping record of all academic progress of the given set of students.
Participate in positive team planning, including work with specialist teachers.
Participation in community service project.
Sharing instructional resources with the peers actively.
Use the IB curriculum to ensure consistency in implementation throughout the school.
Training teaching assistants and housemasters the methodologies and pedagogy of the subject, lesson plans (short term and long term) etc.
Participate in the curriculum revision process.
Participate in personal and professional growth.
Participate in coaching, outdoor education trips, school-wide events, and/or extracurricular activities.
House tutoring the students.
Playing a role model as a mentor.
Most importantly, teacher should be responsible for student\'s overall improvement in academics and in other extracurricular actives.

Educational Requirements:
MUST have minimum Bachelors Degree / B.Ed from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements
At least 5 years.

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years working experience in the international schools, IB will be preferred.
Experience in CAS TOK & EE (For English Teacher)
Willing to stay at the School\'s campus in Gazipur
Experience in Teaching from class 1 to class 10.
