Subject: Filling up the post of Teaching Assistant (Zoology) on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs. 25,000/- per month for M.Sc. and Rs.30,000/- per month for Ph.D. degree holders.
One post of Teaching Assistant (Zoology) on contract basis at a fixed salary of Rs.25,000/- per month for M.Sc. and Rs.30,000/- per month for Ph.D. degree holders initially for a period of six months is to be filled up in the Department of Zoology, PAU, Ludhiana in the scheme, "Self financing programme in College of Basic Scs. & Humanities, SFS-2 (PC-3037)". The qualifications prescribed for the post are as under:-
B.Sc./ B.Sc. Agriculture with 2nd Division.
M.Sc. Zoology with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks in aggregate.
Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board/Agency (as first or second language).
Note: The candidate without the Matric level certificate of Punjabi language from Punjab School Education Board or any other recognized Board/Agency (as first or second language) would only be considered/appointed provided no candidate with this qualification is available.
The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper complete in all respect alongwith attested copies of the testimonials and bank draft amounting to Rs. 200/- in favour of Comptroller, PAU, to this office on or before 31.08.2017 by 03:00 p.m. They should appear before the Selection Committee for the interview on 06.09.2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be given for attending the interview.
The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated at any time without any notice.
