CAT Admit Card 2022: IIM Bangalore to Release CAT Hall Ticket at iimcat.ac.in

IIM Bangalore will release the CAT admit card 2022 today, i.e., October 27, 2022. The link to download the CAT hall ticket will be activated at 5 PM on the official website (iimcat.ac.in). Candidates who completed CAT 2022 registration till September 21, 2022, will be eligible to download the admit card using their CAT 2022 ID and password.

CAT admit card 2022 is a crucial document that students must carry to the exam hall. It contains important details, such as a candidate’s name, date of birth, category, PwD/DA status, photograph, signature, test city, exam center address, exam time & date, and instructions regarding the exam. No candidates will be allowed entry to the exam hall without a hard copy of the CAT admit card 2022.

CAT 2022 will be held on November 27, 2022, in 150 test cities across various states in India. It is a computer-based test, conducted for admission into MBA/PGDM courses offered by 20 IIMs in the country. IIM Bangalore is the conducting authority for CAT 2022. Registered candidates will be able to download the CAT admit card only at the official website.

Step 2: Find the “Registered Candidate Login” link and click on it.
Step 3: Enter your CAT ID and password created at the time of registration in the given fields and submit.
Step 4: CAT admit card 2022 will be displayed on your screen.
Step 5: Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.

Problems Faced While Downloading CAT Admit Card 2022



There’s a possibility that you will come across a few issues while downloading your CAT admit card 2022, but you shouldn’t panic and keep calm. Here are some problems you might face:

Forgot CAT ID & Password: If you forget the CAT user ID and password, check the SMS/Email you received after the registration. In case you have lost the SMS/Email, you can retrieve the credentials using the given steps:

● Click on the user ID and password tab in the CAT login window.
● Enter the registered email address in the provided space.
● Now click on the "Get User ID/Password" tab.
● You will receive the user ID and password on the registered email address.
● Sign in again using the new user ID or password and keep it safe for future use.

Incompatible Browser: Students must use Google Chrome (Version 80.0.3987 or above), Internet Explorer (Version 10.0.46 or above), or Mozilla Firefox (Version 68 or above) to download CAT admit card 2022. If you still face issues while using these browsers, clear the history and cache and refresh the page.

Slow Internet Connection: You need to have a fast and stable internet connection to download your CAT admit card 2022. It will be difficult to download the hall ticket with a slow internet speed.

Technical Glitch: More than 2 lakh candidates apply for CAT every year, so one can expect too much traffic on the website once the admit card download link is activated. This can slow down the website and cause technical problems. If it happens, then log out and try downloading the admit card sometime later.
