The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the dates for class X and XII board exams 2012.
Both the exams will begin on March 1. But while Class X boards end on March 26, the exams for Class XII will end on April 13.
The CBSE has been easy on the Class X students, starting their examinations with the painting paper, following it up with mathematics. The exam ends with the social science paper on March 26.
For Class XII, the examination starts with English while the psychology paper will be the last one on April 13.
For Class X, the board has spread out the major examinations.
Between March 2, the day of mathematics paper, and March 20, the day of science examination, there are papers only of IT foundation on March 10 and home science on March 12.
For those appearing for Class XII exams, the schedule is a little tougher. The physics paper on March 5 will follow after English on March 1.
An even balance has been chartered out for all branches. Between physics and chemistry papers, there is an eight-day break. For commerce students, the paper on business studies is on March 6 and accountancy is on March 15.
