Close to 15,000 students had appeared for the exam from the tricity. Over 10 lakh candidates appeared across the country, a 9.32% increase from last year, when a total of 9, 42,035 candidates had registered for the exams. This year, 6, 03,064 were male and 4, 26,810 were female candidates.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be announcing its Class 12 result for the session 2014 soon. The results can be checked on the official website of the board once it is declared.
But there is still no confirmation of the dates officially.
Once the results are declared, students can check it on the official websites cbse.nic.in. and cbseresults.nic.in
Students can also obtain the CBSE Class 12 result 2014 on www.results.nic.in and www.indiaresults.com
Candidates can get the access to results through SMS also.
You can also check your class 12 and class 10 result through IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System). Rs 0.30 will be charged per minute for each roll number.
Last year Panchkula girl Aakriti Goel topped the tricity in Class 12 exams with 98.2% in the non-medical stream. Chandigarh students Parul Laddha and Jayesh Jhunjhunwala topped the commerce stream by securing 97.8% while Chandigarh-based Gurleen Kaur topped the medical stream.
Some reports indicate that Class 10 results will be declared on May 15 and Class 12 results will be declared on May 25. But, no confirmation date has been announced officially so far. And the speculation over the date of the result is high now.
