The CCCC 2016 contest will kick off from Delhi Public School Ranchi on April 18, 2016. The preliminary round will end with the Bhubaneswar round on September 2, 2016.
The registration started on the organisers� website crypticsingh.com. The Contest Is For Students of Classes IX to XII.

In the first Phase, the Inter - School Contest will be conducted in the selected cities and the schools located in the vicinity will participate in the competition. Each team will have two students who have to solve the cryptic crossword puzzle in 60 minutes. This contest will be held during April-August. The winners and the first runners-up of the contest will be awarded the prizes and certificates. The next is the National Round which will be held in Delhi for two days during November-December. There will be three rounds, the quarterfinal, semifinal and the final. Similarly, the cryptic crossword puzzle has to be solved in 60 minutes and the top 16 teams will be qualified for the semi-finals.
These 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups each having four teams. The teams will participate onstage cryptic crossword contest of 60 minutes duration based on a powerpoint format. The top team from each group will be qualified for the finals. The winners in the final will be awarded prizes worth Rs. 25000 each along with trophies and certificates. The national runners-up will get Rs. 15000 each along with trophies and certificates while the 3rd, 4th will be given Rs 10000.
