The National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed May session examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains.
The JEE (Main) 2021 April Session which was scheduled on April 27, 28, and 30, has already been postponed due to the COVID – 19 pandemic.
The first two sessions have already been completed in February and March. The number of candidates who appeared in Session 1 is 620978 and in Session 2 is 556248.
The JEE (Main) 2021 May session is earlier scheduled on 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 May 2021. Keeping the present situation in mind, the JEE (Main) – 2021 May session is also being postponed. The revised dates for the May Session will be intimated later on and will be announced at least 15 days before the exam.
"Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 and keeping students safety in mind, JEE (Main) - May 2021 session has been postponed. Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA for further updates." tweeted by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
"The registration for the May Session will also be announced at a later stage. The rescheduling of the April and May sessions will be done subsequently" NTA said.
In the meantime, candidates are advised to use this time to prepare themselves better for the examination. They can also take practice ( full length/ chapter wise) tests on the NTA Abhyas App from the comfort of their homes.
The Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official websites of NTA www.nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in for the latest updates related to the exams.
