The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the date for making corrections in the online application forms for NEET UG 2020 due to COVID-19 epidemic.
Now the applicants who have applied for the NEET UG 2020 examination can make change their choice of city for the exam centers till April 14, 2020.
"In view of the hardships faced by the aspirants of NEET (UG) -2020 due to COVID-19 epidemic, the NTA has further expanded the scope of making corrections in the application form." stated in a notification by NTA.
"The facility for correction in the particulars including choice of cities for centre in the online application form is operational now on the NTA official website that will be available upto April-14," the notification added.
"Correction in the particulars in the Online Application Forms shall be accepted upto 05.00 PM and submission of fee upto 11.50 PM of April-14." stated in the notice.
The candidates are requested to undertake the corrections very carefully as no further chance of correction will be provided to the candidates.
However, due to administrative reasons, a different city may be allotted and the decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre shall be final.
The statement also said that the additional amount, if applicable for the changes can be paid through Credit/ Debit/ Net Banking/ PAYTM. The changes made by the applicants will be reflected once the payment is done.
