Q. 11. Using division algorithm, find the quotient and remainder on dividing f (x) by g (x) where f (x) = 6x3 + 13x2 + x – 2 and g (x) = 2x + 1. 2
Sol. Degree of f (x) = 3 and Degree of g (x) = 1
Degree of quotient = 3 – 1 = 2
and Degree of remainder = 0
Let Quotient = ax2 + bx + c
and Remainder = P
