1/(x + 1) + 1/(x + 2) = 1/(x + 4)
Or, (x + 2) +( x + 1) / (x+ 1) (x + 2) = 1/(x + 4)
(2x + 3)/x2 + x + 2x + 2 = 1/(x + 4)
Or, (2x + 3) (x + 4) = x2 + 3x + 2
Or, 2x2 + 8x + 3x + 12 = x2 + 3x + 2
Or, x2 + 8x + 10 = 0
Here a = 1, b = 6, c = 8
D = b2 - 4ac = 8 2 - 4 X 1 X 10
= 64 - 40
= 24
