1.5 ABSOLUTE FUNCTION :
Absolute function means the value of image is always positive because of the modulus sign.

Example:
Given f (x) = 2 − x and y =| f (x) | . Sketch the graph of y =| f (x) | for the domain 0 ≤ x ≤ 6. Hence
state the corresponding range of y.
Hence, the corresponding range of y is 0≤ y ≤ 4
