Sol. Let P(0, y) be any point on y-axis
Let A(– 5, 2), B(9, – 2)
PA = PB …(Given)
PA2 = PB2 …(Squaring both sides)

Q. 15. Find the probability that a number selected at random from the numbers 3, 4, 5,…, 25 is prime.

Sol . Total given numbers = 23 Prime numbers are 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23 = 8
