Q. 30. A train travels 288 km at a uniform speed. If the speed had been 4 km/hr more, it would have taken 1 hour less for the same journey. Find the speed of the train. 6

Sol.

Let the normal speed of the train
= x km/hr
Then the increased speed of the train
= (x + 4) km/hr
Distance = 288 km
